To a lot of us, this would sound a bit oxymoron, but in the real world, a large group of people relief the pain through acupuncture treatments. It is a Chinese treatment therapy which works miracles for all different types of diseases. There is energy like pathways which are named Meridians that flow through your body according to the Chinese belief. When there is a blockage in their path, it results in health issues. They insert needles into the areas which need to be treated, this influences the energy flow through the pathways called Meridans and this releases your pain.

Acupuncture points are central to the practice of acupuncture. Numbered sequentially from 1 to 41 (large points), and from 1 to 33 (small points), they are studied by licensed acupuncturists to effectively treat their patients. MIT. Harvard. The U.S. Army. What do these great American institutions have in common? They’ve all fallen in love with acupuncture. In the Journal of Brain Research, a peer-reviewed joint study by Harvard Medical School and MIT was published in late 2008. It showed that acupuncture has an effect greater than placebo. The U.S. Army is allowing military doctors to treat soldiers who suffer from chronic or severe pain with a specialized form of acupuncture: ear acupuncture. And those soldiers find relief. It seems that the initial doubts many Americans had about this Chinese medicine are fading.
