Testosterone is the hormone that makes men men. It is at its highest level during puberty and adolescence but testosterone production starts declining after the age of 30 and by the time you are 40, you can feel the effects sharply.

But there are some natural ways to boost your testosterone production. Here are a few:

Diet Changes- In order to boost testosterone production, your diet should be rich in proteins. Foods that are rich in protein can include eggs and whey. You should also try to limit your carbohydrate intake since they increase level of insulin in blood which has a negative impact on testosterone production. Moreover, you should include essential fatty acids in your diet since all anabolic cholesterol hormones are produced in cholesterol.

Other foods that can help increase your testosterone production include oysters, animal protein, nuts, beans etc.,

Active Lifestyle- It is not just certain foods that can help, you must also adopt an active lifestyle. People who are physically inactive experience low libido. Intense and regular exercise is known to boost the production of this male hormone. Compound exercises such as bench press, squats, deadlifts, chin ups etc., are particularly beneficial. However, you must limit your workout to 45-60 minutes in a single sessions since if you exercise for more than an hour your body begins producing cortisol which affects your T-levels negatively.

Reduce Stress- Stress is one of the major causes of a decline in testosterone. You should try to relax in order to reduce stress. Exercise is the best method to reduce stress. Moreover, sleep also helps a great deal in reducing stress. Make it a point to sleep for at least 8 hours a day.

Over and above, there are some natural supplements that can help boost your testosterone production. These supplements are packed with herbs and other nutrients that can help increase testosterone production without any side effects.
